Large corner pub with Hodgsons' plaque above door. Retains two separate rooms, with a public bar on the left, and a saloon on the right, which used to be subdivided. The most notable feature being the octagonal, leaded skylight over the servery. Other original features include cornice, panelled dado, bar counter and some of the bar-back, fireplace. There is a rear garden as well as tables at the front. 15 letting rooms available.
