Pub Promotions & Awards Co-Ordinator:

Works with a team of volunteers keeping in contact with pubs, arranging pub awards, encouraging pub visits and promoting the LocAle scheme. An hour a month is probably typical except for when the annual Pub of the Year judging is taking place.

Pub Protection Officer:

Ideally this role requires some familiarity with Local Authority planning processes, but guidance can be provided on this. The most important requirement is for an enthusiasm and commitment to support pubs that are under threat and the communities that rely on them. Commitment involved is likely to be around two hours a month except at key times, such as the threat of closure of a local pub or a major local campaign.
